San Luis Regional Detention and Support Center Promotion
The San Luis Regional Detention and Support Center proudly announces the promotion of Ricardo Soto to the position of Sergeant. Sergeant Soto has been a member of Emerald's San Luis family since January 2007 as part of the initial crew hired to prepare and operate the facility.

Bryan Brown promoted to Special Operations
September, 2011
Bryan Brown was promoted to Special Operations under the Chief Operating Officer. Bryan served as the Warden at Emerald Correctional Management’s West Carroll Detention Center since 2008. Mr. Brown brings more than 11 years of experience in the corrections industry. He began his career at the Louisiana State Penitentiary and has held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility including Cadet, Sergeant and Lieutenant. Warden Brown graduated from North Delta Regional Training Academy in Monroe, Louisiana and the Louisiana State Penitentiary Training Academy.

Jason Johnson has 12 ½ years of Military Experience and has been employed at the facility for more than 3 years. Lt. Larry Campbell has 18 years of correctional experience and has been employed at the facilty for more than three years.

Special Operations at Lincoln County
July 30, 2011
Key staff from Emerald's Detention Facilities joined together for "Special Operations" at the Lincoln County Detention Center. The team spent the day training, rehearsing and conducting simulations. Training topics included Search Procedures, Use of Force, Five Man Force Cell Entry Techniques, Pressure Point Techniques and Professionalism. The Special Operations was a great success and was under the command of Warden Arthur Anderson; Operations Warden Marcello Villegas and Advisor, David Rivas - Deputy Chief of Operations.
